Set in Saville, these atmospheric, brilliantly plotted books are so very good I didn’t want to finish them .The morose Falcon has an interesting background and introspective personality, this book, The Hidden Assassins is about a supposed terrorist attack in Seville and the various avenues taken to reveal why it happened. Clever and gripping, literate and fascinating, the glimpses of Spain are wonderful and the overall ambiance unforgettable. If you haven’t found this series, start with the Blind Man of Seville. |
